My hope is that when you hire me, you realize that it is more than just the opportunity to have someone take photographs for you. I want it to be an experience. I want to get to know you and your partner as much as I can so that I know how to best represent your love story in my photographs. I want you to look at the images that we have created together and remember exactly how you felt in that very moment. If you're looking for someone to simply be there with a camera, I'm not the photographer for you. I believe your story is meant to be told in the most honest, authentic, real, and most beautiful way possible.
I never imagined photographing would be something that I could do for a living one day. I feel that it is fate that it has worked out to be my career, as it was only a dream of mine when I first started. It has taken years of work, some very hard self-criticism, lots of business paperwork, and many long nights of editing to get to where I am. Would I say that I’m where I want to be? Never. But I always have and always will put all of my heart and passion into your photographs because there’s no other way that I know how to do it. I believe in your love story. I want you to feel the same things that I feel when you look at your photos and to truly know how important these moments are.
a little bit about
Deep down, I am a bit of a nerd and have a very curious mind. I love learning about how our planet works, and am especially fascinated by the night sky. As a former astronomical society member, I've learned to incorporate the images I took for the society into my work. My dream is to photograph a couple under the Aurora Borealis.

Since 2018, I have fostered kittens for a local animal clinic. This experience has taught me deeper levels of compassion, patience, communication, & understanding. I have also learned about the fragility of life and why it is important that we celebrate & document the happy moments that we experience.

I enjoy casually playing cello, piano, and guitar. I love all genres of music, but music that best defines me has to be the dramatic, cinematic, tear-jerker-worthy kind of music. I'm definitely listening to Sigur Ros or random film scores when editing your images, and I believe it does have an impact on the outcome.

I spent a large portion of my childhood traveling with my retired grandparents while my single-parent mother worked in the summers. That's when my love for travel was born. I'm always eager to explore new, beautiful places and love to incorporate those places into my work. You want to travel far away for your love story? I'm there and I can even help plan it!

I think it's important you know a bit more about me as a person, because a huge part of what I do is dependent on the trust I have from my clients. I figure I would get out as much as I can now, because when you contact me I want it to be all about you. Outside of photography, my biggest passions are travel, music, animals, and science. I used to be very shy, but working in the photography industry has built my confidence and my eagerness to learn more about everyone I encounter. I love learning about different backgrounds, cultures, and traditions. I am a hopeless romantic. I believe even the darkest moments in our lives can be viewed with a beautiful perspective. Most of all, I believe it is important that we hold space in our lives for the things that bring us the most peace & happiness. Here is how I have found my passions translated into my work:
